After raising her children, Kathryn Trewern - known to her peers as Katie - decided it was finally time to do something for herself, and we are so happy that she did.
Katie started a Diploma of Beauty Therapy in early 2019. Her achievements since then have been nothing short of amazing. She perfected each and every assessment, both theory and practical. Katie also decided to secure placement early in her training journey. Before she had even started, she was offered a job and this allowed her to work in a reputable salon while completing her studies.
She has a fantastic manner, was always willing to help others in her class and assist where possible. She worked the training salon reception on a regular basis with great professionalism and always received lovely feedback
Katie is extremely well spoken, proud of her achievements and where she decided to study within TAFE Gippsland. She has been a positive role model for younger students.
Her hard work, determination and perfection ensured no hesitation in awarding Katie Trewern the Vocational Student of the Year for Hair, Beauty and Make-Up.
